What's Buzz-worthy: This box delivered huge statistically with the May card checking in at a one-in-2,062-pack find -- that's one in 115 boxes or one in 10 cases -- along with a Blue auto one in 201 packs. Statistically the Blue and Black base cards are not assured in every box, but I'd expect that they fall pretty often. Generally speaking, I like Heritage but 1970 just isn't my thing. This one showcases top prospect names in uniforms you might not recognize but that's the point -- to give a big-league feel to minor-league ball. The Super box-topper is a nice touch, while the inserts are familiar if you ripped MLB Heritage this year. All in all, it's a decent rip for the price but keep in mind that there are fewer packs per box in this one so the boxes should be cheaper. Past years of Heritage MiLB have dried up in some instances and I'd bet that the print run here is far lower than much of what Topps does during the year. The on-card autos here are also a big plus, so if you want to chase ink on the more affordable side and don't mind MiLB unis there could be some fun had here with decent long-term potential, especially if buyer interest moves back toward absolute earliest cardboard at some point.
