What's Buzz-worthy: Want a super-simple break and project? Pick up a few of these boxes to build the set and perhaps you can find some super-rare pulls that might surprise. Why do I give this one a thumb's up? It's a simple box but a set using the 1977 aesthetic -- something you'd have no idea about based on the look of the box. For those of us who are Heritage fans, this is essentially a Heritage Star Wars release with looks at past films as well as the trailer leading up to this new release (hence the Journey part) at that time. What's a mini blaster? Well, it's my term for this one as the Walmart blaster is a smaller box with just five packs and then a bonus pack here -- meanwhile Target's blasters included 10 packs and a manufactured Relic. ... This format does have some rarer finds as there are printing plates possible in a few sets here as well as commemorative patch cards -- one in 325 packs -- as well as standard autographs at one in 338 packs or one in 68 boxes. (Meanwhile, ink is one per hobby box.) There also are multi-auto cards and sketch cards also found here -- also long odds, but they are in there. I really like the feel of the 1977 design being re-done -- so this one still gets a decent grade out of me. A low-expectations and simple break to build a set (grabbing say six boxes assuming perfect collation) could pay off big if some notable hits ended up in these boxes. I think that's very possible with this one if luck is on your side.
