What's Buzz-worthy: There is always one thing I say with this one if you opt to dig in -- play it safe and buy by the box -- and that probably holds true here, though it's not the best box of this one I've ever opened. The base cards include a Mike Trout appearance and my lone Rookie Card is Vladimir Guerrero Jr., but my hits were a little on the softer side though Mookie Betts is a strong player on cardboard and the field and Chris Sale is a strong player on the field. My autos? Not that hot. Each type of hit -- Relic, auto, multi-piece Relic and auto Relic -- is delivered in each box and that's why going the box route is safest. One drawback here? While these are cleanly printed and cut -- not always a given with thick stock -- they are heavily foiled on the corners. The top-right corner on the Trout will show you why I don't like that -- but thankfully the Vlad was clean (at least without having yet gotten out my loupe). This wasn't a great box but the potential for big stuff is definitely in this one and that's a reason it's been around for several years now. If you want to dabble and buy by the pack -- a standard Relic could be possible ... or you could land The Big One -- that's also an option at the link above. It's all high-risk, high-reward with a brand like this one.
Product Grade: A-
Box Grade: B (helped by Trout, Vlad and Betts -- otherwise close to an average box)
Fun Grade: B
