What's Buzz-worthy: The low-end collecting experience that is Opening Day includes some fun stuff as usual but some of the better-looking possible cards aren't easy pulls at all -- at least in this format. Dugout Peeks are one in 2,560 packs, while Sock It To Me! are one in 804. Those are just a couple things that have steep odds. As to what is in a typical box like this one, you can expect at least a couple of mascots and what you see here. The Rookie Cards didn't flow that well in this box, but a Yusei Kikuchi appearance gets it a top grade as he's arguably the key card in the base set. The inserts here feel a little limited in scope/feel but if you're buying in a full-size box there should be a good mix. If you land a hit in these boxes or one of the rarer inserts it's that scarcity that should help their resale value. If you're not selling, then it's perhaps best to buy in bulk here to build the sets and assure your shot at one of the rarer inclusions. I think the tougher pulls don't help this year ... at least for my collecting preferences.
