What's Buzz-worthy: My first impressions of this one came earlier today when I busted a jumbo box for next week's #Buzz8in8 marathon but this single blaster rubbed shoulders with that box and delivered just as well on one front alone -- delivering top-name Rookie Cards. All of the standard-print RCs of note were in this one if you ask me, while the short-printed Vladimir Guerrero Jr. card was nowhere to be found but can be in this format. Ripping jumbo appears to be the way to go with this series as this entire box's insert volume can be had in just a couple packs with an equivalent-style manufactured Relic guaranteed with ink and a Relic every time. This particular box included a pair of Mookie Betts inserts and the Franchise Feats also were not in my jumbo break. The insert volume here was the same as Series 1 so that hurts the Fun Grade in my mind but the rookie potential here helps. All in all, I'm not that big of a fan of the basic design this year but the overall inclusions in the product are on par with past years and it works for a lot of collectors. The Blue 1984 card here is a tougher pull at one in 34 packs when combined with a few other inserts, while Faces of the Franchise is similarly tougher. Others here delivered about how they should. All in all, the rookies helped out here but I'd go jumbo box to deliver a ton more for the price of just a few of these blasters.
