What's Buzz-worthy: I busted a jumbo box of this one closer to release day and I'll have a hobby box for next month's #Buzz8in8 marathon, but here's another blaster break to hold things over until then. The Rookie Card crop in this one was deep but not flashy at all, leaving the highlight moments to the inserts beyond a couple of notable veterans. ... Ripping jumbo still appears to be the way to go with this series as this entire box's insert volume can be had in just a couple packs there with an equivalent-style manufactured Relic guaranteed with ink and a Relic every time in jumbos. These boxes guarantee you a manufactured Relic every time though autographs are possible. This particular box included a pair of Mookie Betts inserts and the Franchise Feats also were not in my jumbo break, though. The insert volume here was the same as Series 1 so that hurts the Fun Grade for blasters, but the rookie potential in this series helps make it a better rip. All in all, I'm not that big of a fan of the basic design this year but the overall inclusions in the product are on par with past years and it works for a lot of collectors. This box didn't wow me with the names in the inserts, but a pair of numbered cards, a photo variation and a Home Run Challenge card made it feel a bit better than normal.
