What's Buzz-worthy: I spotted a few of these straggling at the retail aisle at regular price and randomly picked one -- and was reminded why I should have bought them all once I opened it. I knew instantly once I saw the side of the pack inside that there was a Relic here -- one in 29 boxes -- and then I pulled off the bottom of the stack to find Alonso among the end of the base. I flipped through the inserts and switched to the top half of the base to find Tatis about halfway in. The only thing I didn't find here of note on the rookie front would be the Vladimir Guerrero no-number SP card. I hadn't opened any of this since the summer -- I was super-sold on jumbo boxes at that time so I didn't do a lot of these smaller boxes, if any -- but this A+ box was a reminder of why they should be considered, too. These will probably get pulled back by retail distributors before 2020 Topps Series 1 arrives, forcing some cleaning up on the shelves, so you might grab these and Topps Update if they are lingering. (Both are in small but still varying degrees for my area -- depends on the format.) There's a good shot these have vanished. (And they probably should have since they arrived in, what, June?) But if they are there, they are worth the rip ... or maybe even a flip.
Product Grade: A-
Box Grade: A+
Fun Grade: B+ (these still feel like they could use more inserts)
