What's Buzz-worthy: These boxes might be lingering out there at retail (if you can't find hit that link up top) and they are worth a rip with this box proving how they can be stacked up pretty well at times. The variations here are just one in 32 packs (easier in Update) while the Vintage Stock cards are one in 157. Had either of those been of key rookies, this box would have been an A+ kind of break. As it stands now, it's still a very strong one and I almost gave it that grade. The rookie crop here is stacked -- I got both names and volume -- and this will be a brand that people look to for sure if some of those guys get off to hot 2020 starts in the spring. ... As said last time, I definitely still don't like the backwards-name design here -- that will bug me for years to come -- but the mix of veterans on All-Star cards, Home Run Derby cards, Rookie Cards and a mess of inserts all help make this a comfortable break that should keep people happy on a few fronts when you consider all of those good-player finds have parallels, too. ... I'd hit up jumbo boxes here as a first option for sure as they guarantee ink and other hits while also delivering volume on everything but once these are no longer hanging around at retail there could be gains to be found. And if you're a RC slabber, this is always a release to load up on, too ... while it's cheap.
