What's Buzz-worthy: With boxes (of many types and sports) not as easily found right now out at the retail aisle for some cheap thrills -- or at least some variety as there some brands I don't want to open more for Buzz Breaks -- I have dabbled with some imports here and there. This is one of those. Slam Attax gaming cards are big in the UK but this one is a hitless version (basically identical cards) of the release made to sell in India. Why rip it? Well, we're talking less than $1 a pack here and this set includes some pre-RCs for some names. (I don't really consider gaming to be RC territory, maybe "XRC" if you're familiar for that.) One of note who I landed in this box is Rhea Ripley (RCs in 2020 releases) and there are some other early appearances that I wouldn't mind finding in this product. This set, which arrived in late 2019, is pretty standard stuff as part of 349 total cards -- rosters, objects, championships, some extra "stars of the show" cards and then "OMG! Moments." Then there are SP foils for Hall of Famers and Champions to finish off the set -- then the LE cards are numbered separately but not on the checklist. The stock here is super-skinny and the packaging and cutting isn't perhaps as crisp as you'd expect for most releases, but I like the feel of this one. I'll probably rip more just for fun ... not a ton of Buzz Break breakdown stuff here, though.
