What's Buzz-worthy: As said in my previous blaster break, this debut release follows the format of Road to WrestleMania with a base set made up of roster cards and highlights. How this one precisely works in tandem with that one in terms of the highlights is something I didn't examine and explore closely but I can say I'm not a big fan of the format -- at least not multiple times a year. While the good moments can make for good cards -- and I've even had some of those graded when it comes to debut moments -- when they aren't key times they can become repetitive and a tad forgettable (that's more on a reflection of what's happening in WWE more than anything Topps does here). That said, there's a lot of repetition here when opening a hobby box -- and, again, that's more on the WWE's moments. (Especially if you're not a fan of repetitive results these days.) The Bronze parallel cards here are initially tough to pull out from the others -- and Silvers will inevitably be missed (bottom card in gallery image) -- but once you realize where the color is applied then you can spot (some of) them. It's a very busy design. There are logo patch cards in play here, too, but I can say I wasn't a big fan of that even though I landed one with crazy odds at one in 2,130 packs. Hobby boxes include ink every time but even that here was not a top-level find. It happens. The look of this one just doesn't jive with my tastes in general but it might to younger collectors dabbling with WWE.
