What's Buzz-worthy: I wasn't sold on the basic look of this one based on the pre-release mocks, but this one is far better in person as the images are crisp, the stock is clean and sturdy and the cutting is solid, too. This year's look is still busy -- just not as busy as last year -- and it's been simplified to only include superstars' cards and then a small set of painting reproductions from an official WWE artist. The autos are all on-card here except for auto Relics and there's a hit in every pack. This one had a wide array of parallels among the hits -- I almost gave this box an A+ -- and it had a pare of Gold cards that are tougher pulls. The autograph subjects here might have been stronger among the rarer pulls but overall it was not an awful mix with the parallels and names. (Ideally, you'd want the bigger names on those rarer cards, but I'll take it.) The Schamberger art cards may not work for some, but they are striking in some instances. The base set has a good mix of names with current stars and veterans who have made recent comebacks giving it a good feel. All in all, this is a favorite of mine for any sport as the print quality is there -- I wish all autographs were on this stock -- and you get a hit every time. I'd buy this one all day long if it were available all day long -- it tends to get hit hard by breakers and volume rippers because they know it can deliver well. I almost wonder whether it could be broken into mini boxes or smaller boxes to make it more accessible on the box level.
