What's Buzz-worthy: Statistically, this box was a big one with a Relic found one in every 400 packs and an autograph one in every 153 along with a single parallel that's one in 56 packs. I like this set in general because of its cleaner design and colors than other basic WWE sets this year but it's a lean break in terms of variety here. It feels like a release that needs one or two more insert types per box and more parallels to really amp up the variety. The first NXT card list is a big one here -- very big -- and those parallels could be key if you land one among those newcomers. The hits here are also good across the board but this box was more on the veteran side but with one name who is quite popular (Bliss). ... As said before, this time around, the match highlights are numbered together with the main star cards in the set so the insert volume here (at least on the stat sheet) is way down. The stock here is super-thin like previous years and that might matter to some of you out there wanting to get the first NXT (rookie) cards slabbed from this one. You will encounter slight damage right out of packs here and there. The set isn't big so landing those notables won't be too hard but a debut is a debut and the crop of newcomers has strong international appeal with NXT UK and stars from Japan and China. Their ink will be a big deal here both in the short-term and later. I will probably grab some of them when they arrive in higher volume and (hopefully) drop in price but keep in mind that the NXT autos won't be as plentiful in that upcoming release this year. That should help values for these, too. I contemplated giving this product an A+ but it's on the simple side -- but it is the best of the three standard releases so far this year in my book. These hobby boxes guarantee you an auto every time and another hit -- so that is the safest way to go with this release. My first blaster might have out-delivered this one a bit but you can't expect ink in every one of those. Hit that link above for hobby boxes.
