What's Buzz-worthy: The annual all-in-one release that is Chronicles arrived for the NBA a bit later than perhaps normal but it's still a fun, solid one to break in any format for a collector. If you land the right names more than once -- I got two cards for the top two rookies in my book here -- you can come out ahead if you find stuff at SRP like I did. The variety here didn't seem as deep as it was in previous versions but that may just be with this being a smaller box. The Classics cards are only found in these hangers, while Green is the exclusive parallel color here, too. Red autos are also in play here for a few sets but that shouldn't be expected in every box. In my area, these boxes are still available -- and new NBA will be coming soon -- but these are not as plentiful as the newer 2021 Chronicles college basketball cards. (Head to head, this one wins ... easily.) These aren't the flashiest of breaks if you're ripping for big mojo hits or cash, but they are fun. I picked up two of these ... so look for more thoughts on this one with my next rip.
