What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz is intentionally late to the Mosaic NBA ballgame this year with this one due to the raised SRPs -- just not feeling it -- but I'm sure that's probably more me than you out there most of the time. I'm just not a heavy NBA ripper and this $22 Walmart find pretty much reinforces my feel for this one at this price if you don't land something big in a box. My favorite card here? A common with some school ties for me, though a LeBron showing and a couple of the rookies here are good, too. All in all, this one felt a lot like the last one I had ripped into, though the basic design is definitely stronger. I think I got my overall feel for this one for a while with the previous year but I think this one has a lot of the familiar inclusions to reward you well if you pull with some luck and are a focused NBA fan. As a dabbler, I'll probably pick off some singles and wait and see on players here or what's to come. Of what I have opened for newer NBA, this one is definitely among the better options, too, though this particular format has a rather limited array of parallels and then a small assortment of rookie ink and variations as with past years.
