What's Buzz-worthy: There wasn't much new at the retail aisle -- unless I missed it -- this week but these new (at least for me) UK-generated Match Attax soccer tins arrived with four different versions (and apparently exclusive contents inside) for just $13 so I bit. It's soccer and gaming -- neither a natural combo for me -- so you can see everything in the tin in the gallery below. One thing I'd caution here is if you're grading (probably not a high volume of you out there on these) just like the Slam Attax tins, the packs here bounce around inside the tin not helping the corners on cards here and there, especially the pack with the black-border cards (see end of gallery). A simple fix would be a dab of rubber glue to hold them in place like Topps does for its collector packs that stick five packs to a cardboard sheet. I have included the four tin types in the gallery with each showing its exclusive Gold Limited Edition card linked to each tin. The tin also apparently is tied to the one run of inserts ... so those of you who know soccer better than I might have a better idea of which tin to grab. It's an option out there and soccer has been making a boatload of cash for collectors out there ... this is a low-end option. If you just want cardboard of some notables, it's worth a look ... but you never know what might take off.
