What's Buzz-worthy: This is a top-level box for a few reasons -- three of the top prospects were found here and two of those were on Chrome cards -- but the two numbered parallels really shouldn't be here, let alone in the same box. (So if these run streaky there could be some nuclear boxes out there with the right names lining up.) The Purple is one in 230 packs (39 boxes). The Blue Prospect is one in 256 (43 boxes). The boxes are small once again this year -- six packs with 12 cards -- but the feel is ultimately the same. You get two Chromes per pack and then some inserts that are Chromes fall atop those. There are just three Prospect paper cards per pack but one of my packs only had two. (I wasn't paying attention to what happened on that one.) These white-bordered cards are crisp and clean -- with borders that a number of collectors clamored for after last year -- but they might be too simple. At least the design isn't one that's perfectly symmetrical and that's something, to me, that made some past sets a bit dull. Dominguez, Puason and Witt are three of the notable newcomers to look for here -- and with the release being staggered and slow-rolled for hobby boxes that will begin arriving tomorrow because of COVID-19 shutdown delays, there could be plenty of anticipation for everything in here.
