What's Buzz-worthy: This box was remarkably similar to a past one I busted with a number of the key Rookie Cards all in one place once again, some of the same stars as well and a lack of a "big" card among the inserts and prospects on the Chrome side. Was it a bad box? No, not really -- but it could have had some more heat. Perhaps shading this one in my eyes was the poor centering of my 1990 insert for Rutschman (I like that set and that's last year's No. 1 pick) but that card even if cleanly centered also wouldn't have been enough to get this one an A grade. It was loaded on the base card side, though. The Puason card is a solid find but it would have been better to find it on Chrome as base cards should figure to be plentiful here -- the always seemingly heavy retail presence (volume-wise) makes me wonder whether this set's size needs to double to help cut down the volume per card. (Same would help given the size of the hobby and jumbo boxes, too.)  There are shots here at retail-only Chrome autos (Green) that do include Jasson Dominguez and the other notables, so that's definitely a reason to rip. Hobby and jumbo are your best shots at chasing his ink -- hit that link up top -- but if you want to dabble a little cheaper with no guaranteed autos in a box this is perhaps your best option. It's certainly a cheaper way to build the basic sets.
