What’s Buzz-worthy: At first glance, this new arrival at retail appeared that it might be like a holiday edition of NBA Hoops where every card is a variation with snowflakes or ice added but that's not the deal here. It's ultimately a blaster that delivers at the same rate as the past ones busted here other than there is one Rookie Sweaters card per box and a Red & Green Optic Preview card in every box, too. Beyond that, these guarantee 11 RCs of some sort and some will include a dozen with the RC of Younghoe Koo (in the base version but still an RC). This box was a solid A in my book with the hit, the Tua and the Hurts ... those two Alabama guys dropped in the same pack. The rest was a little standard here -- and blasters are still a little lean beyond the rookie presence -- but there's good potential to find top rookies on the hits and there are also multi-player cards to find, too. ... The overall approach here is familiar and within the formula of recent years for Donruss but this year's design is simple and stronger than last year if you ask me, so that's why it gets a slightly higher grade.
