What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz doesn't rip into a lot of draft picks sets, but this year's releases are loaded up with players from my team so I figured I'd dabble with very few options out in the retail wild right now. This release is a small one -- just 100 cards -- loaded with first-rounders and more with a pair of autographs top-loaded and put into every box. The ink not being in packs has perhaps always been a reason I've passed here -- why, I don't know, but it's true -- but the volume of key guys found in this one on base cards is fun. The only inserts here are the Gold parallels and it turns out that the ink also has parallels and both autos here are of that variety. I'll admit I'm one-conference and one-team centric so I didn't know much about my ink here but the overall package was pretty impressive volume-wise for the price. There is also a hobby version of the blaster -- hit that link above -- that includes a third auto to consider, too. With upcoming releases potentially delayed we may not be seeing a ton of football cards soon ... so releases like this one have a chance to dry up if your retail stores for the basics are still letting people buy cards. (This one was the last one on the shelf for me.) This one is simple and ultimately all about the ink in the long-term, but the photos, printing and design here are crisp and clean, too.
