What's Buzz-worthy: These simple boxes are a new option out in the retail wild with a simple pair of inclusions inside -- a simple plastic-cased 10-card set of draft picks cards and a slabbed 1/1 pre-production proof card. That's it. These blasters are $29.99 and since pretty much everything else was "bot out" (get it?), I grabbed a couple of these. Why? Well I like the presentation and feel of a slabbed proof card and there are some notable names possible here with the 2020 rookie class. The base set also includes a number of the top names in this year's crop so if you're a fan of one of those guys or their schools (Alabama has three guys in this set, LSU has two) then it's a simple grab. The slab is the key here as a notable name could lead to some profits but overall I like the idea of adding a slabbed 1/1 card in a retail blaster.

Product Grade: A- (1/1 slab every time is a win)
Lot Grade: A- (Akers has potential)
Fun Grade: B (simple boxes)
