What’s Buzz-worthy: Want a simple break that includes three 1/1 cards in slabs every single time while also delivering a ton of surprise potential? It's this one, which is where every card is a blank-backed autograph-free proof of the inked cards that arrived for this long-running non-sports franchise that has delivered some of the biggest ink over the years for non-sports fans. This box? It included some controversial figures, a pairing of A-listers and one of the legends who is a big fish when it comes to non-sports ink. I popped the lid to see Bella Thorne, the Disney star turned OnlyFans provocateur among many of her entertainment-oriented ventures. That card is in the Classic Roles set within the release noting "CeCe Jones," her role in Disney's Shake It Up on a Pink Crystal parallel. Next in the box was a Red Co-Stars for Renner and Madsen which is (I think) for their shared time in an animated release, Arctic Dogs, unless there's a Reservoir Dogs meets The Avengers or Kill Bill-The Hurt Locker crossovers that I haven't heard about. The last card was a biggie ... well it would be massive with ink ... a Harrison Ford Classic Roles card that notes him as some guy you've probably never heard of, Indiana Jones. Maybe. About the only thing that can top that would be, you know, That Han Solo Guy. All in all, this was a good box though these proofs can be hit and miss if you're breaking to sell. The prices seem oddly soft even if there are a ton of 1/1s per subject they are still just that and the range of who you can find here is really fun if you ask me, and it's not super-pricey to dig in here, either. Last year, this one went a little further by guaranteeing an autographed slab in every box and those dried up fast but can still be found for a price that's higher than these. I didn't do any last year but I probably should have ... I like a simple break where you know what you're getting. The only mystery is who.
