What's Buzz-worthy: This latest draft picks release is one that follows the familiar format of recent years with two autographs per blaster -- a good value if you manage to land a big name. (I haven't had much luck ... but I like these.) This one did include autos for two guys with NFL ties now (one drafted, one not) and it also included what might be a tough pull based on early eBay listings -- they call it a Galactic parallel there -- but I'm not sure what it is as nothing appears on the checklists that appear to match. (Most parallels are serial-numbered or obvious what they are.) The design here feels a little more comfortable than last year, yet it just feels like there needs to be more here -- probably less of a concern if you're ripping into hobby boxes where the ink leads the way and volume of everything is up. Generally, this is a brand I like to rip into for blasters for a clean presentation of NCAA football with a chance for a decent return and even bigger ones possible. I think this brand is one that could use more plain draft picks cards instead of relegating those guys to the autographs and inserts, though. That's a move that could really improve the breaks here.
