What's Buzz-worthy: This is my second of a couple of these affordable hangers I found recently and this time it's pretty much close to an average break. The consistency is definitely there in terms of what you get so it's just a matter of who ... some will deliver well, some will not. (Lamb and Rodgers are perhaps the highlights here.) These aren't the flashiest cards as they are pretty standard stuff stock-wise (unfortunately some corners took a hit here) and are decently priced compared to the mega box for the brand. For the money at SRP, I'd probably do three of these instead of a mega box unless those are somehow delivering better hits more regularly than my 150 Rewards points seen at that link. (A 150-point card can't come close to paying off on the $30-plus price difference, especially with the shipping fee.) This might be a safe buy as long as you have some luck landing notable RCs or their parallels but there are 100 rookies on the checklist, so it's not all that easy to pull any one name. Hobby boxes of this one are hits-driven and are really good on the potential front. If you want something simple that has some good touches for a collector that's not too pricey, this retail version is a clean option -- I'd do more than just one if you can.
