What's Buzz-worthy: This brand is one that can easily grab attention with its intricate designs and plenty of Prizmatic flair and it does but while the base card design feels better to me this year the rest of the stuff -- at least what was in this box -- felt a little flat. It's quite similar to last year as to the inserts but this time the bonus pack is the home to three different parallel types -- a big pack with potential -- but none of them hit it big this time. The tiered base set (100 basic cards, 100 Tier Two cards and then 50 Tier Three cards) probably helps the value here with the key names that are rarer, especially in parallels, but the move feels a little to Select-ish to me. If you do land some of those keys, boxes like this one ($39 Walmart version) might pay off pretty well as there's a decent amount of volume but I'd bet that the hobby boxes are the home to the best mix of things with more options. I'll offer more thoughts on this one if I rip more this year.
