What's Buzz-worthy: With no hit in blaster boxes and just four more cards, these slightly cheaper hanger boxes might be a better starting point for this year's Prizm depending on your tastes between Orange Lazer and Red Ice cards. Ultimately, they are the biggest difference here though it does appear that blasters deliver more basic RCs than these packs do. I did a little of both formats and while this one hit a sweet spot with a parallel of a guy on my radar and a rookie variation, it didn't really out-deliver the other format ... for any of my boxes. They're all about the same with one, maybe two highlight cards and no jackpot cards just yet. ... This set is big -- 300 veterans topped by 100 rookies -- so they can run dry at times or you can get a box where stars line up together. I think I like this design better than last year and I might give the edge to this format but ultimately I'd grab it if you find it in any format at retail ... or do hobby for the safest rip.
