What's Buzz-worthy: The last of my first wave of these boxes included one of the funniest NASCAR cards I've seen and at the same time a somber reminder of 2020 -- the variation of Denny Hamlin's card where he's celebrating his win in Victory Lane wearing a mask ... of his own face. The parallel that I found this one in -- a three-card bonus pack only in these blasters -- looks really good in some instances and then isn't as strong for some subsets ... but if you land the right names there it can be a good thing value-wise. Some versions of that card could pay for a blaster or two ... and again, it's just a simple card. These boxes also cough up a boatload of variety and this one is perhaps more varied than others with a number of base card parallels here while sticking with the routine of one numbered card per blaster. (This time, a Pink card that's /50.) ... For the suggested retail price, you can do pretty well but if you want to try for big flips, hit those hobby boxes. Variations aren't as obviously spotted on the card fronts this time -- if you flip them over and see the back photo lined with checkered flags then you have an SP. They are noted in the gallery below for 10 drivers but it appears those cards have parallels, too. (I'd assume across the board on all versions but have not seen that noted anywhere officially.) These boxes can be streaky and that can translate into wins if you have key names pop up together.
