What's Buzz-worthy: I had thought the NFL card season was long over for me thanks to the retail campers out there -- I hadn't opened a single NFL box since March 1 -- but these were left for the kids today (thanks to limits) and that means I'm happy kid with this A+ box thanks to Herbert, Hurts, Brady and Burrow. Oh, and even that Mahomes guy, too. (There are perhaps better boxes out there as I have seen this format for this release praised quite a bit.) This year's set is a big one with four levels instead of three and the RC volume is nice, too. This box's parallel inclusions were by the book with four Maroon and one Silver and the Silver was a key player I'd want to find. The two inserts I landed were noted as being exclusives here, too, so I think that's probably part of the added appeal for retail formats of this one, which include blasters and megas ... though this is the first I have seen of the brand. Centering appears to be rough at times in this release -- at least based on some breaks I have seen -- and my pair of boxes (Limit two, kids!) reinforced that here in a few spots. Based on my first in-hand impression for this brand, it's a strong one, especially at suggested retail price. I'm not sure I'm dedicated enough to rip this one in the pricier formats as I'm more of a dabbler but there's plenty of high-end stuff to chase in this brand.
