What's Buzz-worthy: This series sold 33,914 packs last year and its 50-card lineup includes Chipper Jones, Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge, Ken Griffey Jr., Nick Solak, Albert Pujols, Jackie Robinson and Stan Musial along with the notables I found inside my pack. The first card I saw here? The Honus Wagner, so that as a soft shock until I remembered it's not 1909 ... but it was still amusing. This year has 10 waves coming for this brand (you'll see the first wave here at some point soon) and that was the reason I figured I'd dip back and rip into the series I didn't do last year. (I've now done three of the five.) This one included an extra insert (one in three packs) and was yet another Hall of Famer that made this one a decent pack if you're a collector. (Big flip? Perhaps not your brand but ink is possible here.) ... As I noted last time, a lot of retail campers are nixing the idea for blasters for me (and for many of you) for current releases, so I think some of these single-pack offerings from the last few years might be worth the look for a collector, though there may not be as big of high-end potential here vs. other brands. You'll see more simple breaks here in the coming weeks (or maybe months) until production volumes perhaps get closer to normal. I prefer small breaks but with guaranteed hits on the bargain side of things but as people keep ripping many of those options are drying up. Stuff like this will, too, so if you've been interested in them this may be the time to grab some.
