What's Buzz-worthy: I've had this one sitting in reserve for some time now since, well, this is far from the flashiest box  (go hobby for your best bet) but as the 2020 calendar winds down and the MLB releases near their finish it's time to think about some of this year's highlights ... or in the case of barren retail aisles perhaps some sleepers. While this brand is one that's heavily collected year in and year out, I think this one falls more on the sleeper side of things -- but (not a new development here) you'll need luck at retail. Hobby boxes include three hits per (a combination of a few card types) and there's also a pricier Chrome version that's made for the hard flippers more than the traditionalists if you ask me ... and I think they are overlooking the OG ... Original Ginter. (No, not the 1880s version ... the 2006-current version from Topps.) Check out the checklist at the link above and examine the autos and Relics ... there's some stuff in here that's overlooked now and could be strong later, too. The base design this year is different -- and a bit funky even for Ginter -- but this is one of the 2020 releases that I think should have gotten more love from the masses.
