What's Buzz-worthy: First card I saw in the first pack I opened here? The Luis Robert Sepia Refractor -- and that got this box an instant A as it's a card that has sold for a good chunk of change -- enough to pay for 10 boxes early on but still several boxes now. The RC presence in this box otherwise was basically non-existent with just a Luzardo insert to show for it but that's far from the norm here -- and my other boxes you'll see here in the coming days were ridiculous on the RC front and more .. so much so I gave this release an A+ grade based solely on the mix of a few small retail boxes. Hobby and jumbo boxes at that link up top offer guaranteed ink and in volume -- so if that's what you expect, go that route. It could translate into a big payday. This blaster is not the norm -- it's strong -- but other ones I opened also were very, very good. Look for another look at this new arrival tomorrow. (You'll want to see it. Trust me.) The blaster breakdown this year is basically identical to last year with Sepia cards only found here and Pink cards being the showcase insert in the retail multi-packs. There will be mega boxes to come, too, with X-Fractors but I think those are arriving in the next wave of retail ... watch for the trays to see if you missed it. (Well, unless the shelf-clearers took those, too.) Chrome has always been a safer buy in my mind but it has taken off substantially in recent years -- and there are tons of colorful reasons why.
