What's Buzz-worthy: I got my first taste of this one at retail and, ultimately, the hobby version of a box has more volume and better odds but ultimately seemed very similar. Nothing I landed here is dramatically out of the ordinary with the Prism Refractor one in 58 and the Orange at one in 113 being the only tougher finds. Black and Gold Refractors are only found in hobby boxes at similar odds to those but they weren't in this box -- and there wasn't a hit, enter. I didn't save the odds from my retail break but Supers here are one in 9,200 packs vs. 22,077 in retail and the C versions (also not here) are the same odds here at one in 101. ... As said last time, I like some of the pop culture nods and the Refractors do look very sharp here, but I still like themed pop culture sets more than a mish-mash oldschool approach. These boxes also can include printing plates and artist autographs but the odds look pretty long so this one really feels like it comes down to what parallels you pull. This one just feels like it needs a bit more overall -- in both retail and hobby.
