What's Buzz-worthy: These unique-looking boxes are on the cheap side -- $9.99 -- and include a small amount of stuff from a themed release that focuses on the ins and outs of school life. The Superlatives, on the backs, note the theme of the awards -- Best Hair, Class Hottie, Most Likely to Succeed -- while the backs on standard cards show either puzzles, checklists or backs that show report cards for the characters to flesh out the character a little better. Some I don't get, some I do. While I do like the move back to one standard set instead of several small niche subsets, I prefer the previous concepts that play off of pop culture and celebs more. These aren't bad -- they are traditional GPKs -- but I prefer the stuff that's got a little extra pop appeal in there. These are fun but don't have as much appeal to me. The meaty set of 100 A and 100 B stickers also has plenty of parallels and other inclusions you can find if you rip across these, the hobby and the collector box formats. This one can also include printing plates, artist autographs and two types of sketch cards with the odds on those starting out at one in 259 ... so not impossible on some of them.
