What's Buzz-worthy: These Walmart megas (around $35) don't really guarantee much beyond some higher pack volume and some Silver parallels as basic short-print cards are in every other box and the easiest variations are every third box. Autographs start at one in 147 packs, too, and that makes the hobby boxes by far your best bet -- hit that link up top for guaranteed ink. This one keeps the pattern of the last couple of years for this retail box and it looks like the results can be hit and miss. If you land key names in key spots, you'll be fine. If not? You might get a box similar to this, though I think mine was saved by some names among the inserts. This is still a brand that could use some simple touches like modern stat lines to give it a modern-vintage feel -- the backs are just a sentence or two about the player. The design is on-par with the look of the brand in previous years but just didn't seem like that exciting of a rip. There are some big potential finds, though, but you'll have to beat the odds to get there. If you want to rip into this one, rip hobby with guaranteed ink making it pricier but safer along with more volume.
