What's Buzz-worthy: Stadium Club is a fun release for a number of reasons but it has a pretty big base set that can mean of the star power is missing if you're ripping into a small box. That's probably the case this time with the base set cards and especially the RCs. There are some names, don't get me wrong, but not many this time. The inserts this time had one more card than my last box thanks to the Chrome card. Half of my inserts also aren't that great names-wise but that happens. All in all, I think this one is a solid option for collectors but you have to rip in larger formats or a little more volume than a single blaster here. As said last time, the Widevision box-topper packs in blasters are a bonus here -- something needed in every release if you ask me -- and that set should be a fun one to amass. It's perhaps my favorite inclusion this year. The parallels dropped pretty much the same as last year with an insert in every pack, while the insert lineup is similar to past years but I'd suggest more experimenting there as this one is known for the base set's inclusions. I think more creativity might make for even better inserts here vs. traditional approaches. The card backs give us a crisp presentation of basic prior-year stats or career, too, and that's something you can't say in a ton of non-flagship releases.
