What's Buzz-worthy: With May the Fourth -- aka Star Wars Day -- nearly upon us, I figured I'd revisit a release that I didn't do before but really should have as this series is one that really appeals to me. This is the third of a three-set trilogy -- at least so far -- and it revisits the third film of the original series, Return of The Jedi. When this concept arrived two sets ago, I was immediately a fan as it gives us all more of a documentary-style look at the franchise we've seen on cardboard many, many times over the last 40-plus years. This one is a mini-box with just seven packs but a hit every time with some big autographs among the possibilities. I really like the lower volume of cardboard here -- a faster and less wasteful rip at more of a reasonable price and still with a guaranteed hit (autograph or sketch). This is a format that more brands should move toward if you ask me on the hobby side -- more collectors will be able to dabble at the box level this way. The auto here is of a relatively popular (price-wise) lesser character (Blakiston has a lengthly list of UK TV credits probably helping, too) while the rest of the finds here are pretty standard. That said, I'll probably open more -- from any of the three sets -- if the price is right as these just look good. They're also smaller sets that might lend themselves to a master set project easily -- but not too easily as you can't just get everything out of one box. As I said last time, this one is an affordable winner in my book -- and there's some big potential among the signers -- hit that checklist link up top before you grab a box.
