What's Buzz-worthy: I decided to revisit this one from not that long ago since flagship is, in theory, on the way next month and, well, it wasn't that flashy and was only saved by some star power from the past, a Wander Franco appearances and a numbered card that's not in every pack (one in four). ... The mix of base cards and Rookie Cards was perhaps the norm here -- though I think the RCs could still be better in other packs -- but the inserts here deliver on a relatively consistent basis. (The box image is a Walmart version, which would have two Blue inserts atop what's found here but this was not one of those ... that could have helped/) ... There's a ton of potential in this one between the parallel potential for RCs and big names ... that could make for some really good packs/boxes in all formats even if it wasn't your standard kind of year for Topps Update. This pack wasn't a winner for me but 2020 was a year with some good finds.

Box Grade: B (helped by the Franco, a numbered card and a couple stars ... otherwise, closer to average)
Fun Grade: C (despite the highlights, this one did feel average in terms of excitement)
