What's Buzz-worthy: The structure of this one isn't always the friendliest format -- a main set of dated highlight cards from throughout the year -- but this one keeps it simple visually without becoming mundane and that helps it improve upon last year despite having a similar approach. One thing to help mix it up here? Foilboard parallels that jump out of the pack. The Roster cards feel more like a base set here -- 50 cards -- and are also improved with stronger photos in many cases that are more portrait moments from action (in-ring or entrances) compared to the studio shots with an overwhelming backdrop last year. The printing and cutting of the stock this year also feels a little more clean and study -- a plus for an affordable release, too. You get an autograph in every box here -- mostly on-card ink -- as well as a second hit every time. This box delivered a veteran name who isn't the most in-demand auto, but it was on a rarer parallel -- one in about 200 packs -- to help it out. I still think the main set would be better with the women's and NXT highlights all mixed in here -- let those main sets take different approaches -- and that would help out this one a ton. The on-card autos here are a plus but this year's design is one that is a little simple there -- it showcases the ink very well. ... The overall general design here is a little funky as it's playing off this year's WrestleMania logo and its Tampa Bay Buccaneers feel as Mania is set for its stadium in about three weeks in Tampa. (If it happens.) All in all, I think this one is an upgrade over last year -- I'll dig in more -- but with some other revamped WWE releases to come this year I might not do this one as much as those others. All in all, it's comfortable but not super-flashy -- but it is stronger than a few of last year's WWE releases on the aesthetic side.
