What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a long time since I opened one of these and my final box I had stashed away was a prime example of how messy this one can be if it's the edition printed and packaged in India in both condition and collation (a lot of dupes this time). The card at right here arrived this way from a sealed pack. Really. The Topps UK edition of this is still a challenge with the black borders but at least they were relatively clean going into a pack ... that card was clearly not in good shape and still got packed out (click for a closer look). It's an extreme example of the damage that can be find here -- most are nowhere near this bad -- but it did happen. This gaming line was a staple of the previous Topps WWE licensing run as it's a release for Europe and apparently this one is one of several Slam Attax packages made by Topps India -- printed, packaged and sold there -- for that market. This one's appeal to me was the three guaranteed Topps XL cards -- two of the three best cards in that set are only in this box format -- along with the other noted foils and then a boatload of packs. A lot of the foil cards have issues, too, not just the base cards ... so I wouldn't go crazy as a buyer in either volume or price. Why buy these? Well, it used to be a cheap rip for starters (I have not looked recently) and then you can find early/first cards for a number of NXT stars who, for whatever reason, tended to appear in Slam Attax releases before hitting typical Topps sets. WWE stuff back then also was delayed quite a bit by COVID and this one was the only option to find a number of those young stars for a good part of the year. I also simply liked the design of stuff here, too. Why is this one here? Something different, off the radar, that should appeal to collectors and perhaps to somebody who likes a high-grade grading challenge ... huge challenge. (In these India boxes perhaps an impossible challenge.)

Product Grade: A+ in terms of the overall (UK edition) ... but the production quality on the India edition is not good (production is a C or even a D/F for many cards in many instances ... so only dabble here if cheap)
Box Grade: B+ (Ripley and The Fiend XL cards are nice guarantees along with earlier cards for NXTers)
Fun Grade: C+ (good volume here on the cheap ... but way too much damage)
