What's Buzz-worthy: I wasn't going to chase these and I barely bit here with only a couple at suggested retail price, but the Cardboard Gods (of The Walmart Realm) rewarded my showing of willpower with a box that delivered as well as it gets without landing something serial-numbered. My first card in my first pack? A Cade Cunningham RC and then a second rookie who averaged 11-plus a game. Not the biggest deals here, though, as I landed the Rookie of the Year on an Ice Prizm -- that has paid for several boxes among early sales -- and if that's not enough I landed a top name on an NBA 75th card, some respectable names on other parallels and inserts (Hall of Famer and an MVP in there) and then ... well ... a hit. Those are not found in every box that I can see ... but in this case it's also a hit of one of the biggest names in the game today. Needless to say my second break of this one that I post here in the coming days/weeks will be a big step down. (Not that it's bad ... it's just not this good and most probably won't be.) This was a strong first impression for me from a brand that's, honestly, not always the most fun to rip with so few cards per pack and a pretty big checklist. Autos and mem are possible here but I wouldn't expect them every time but they can help make a good box even better.
