What's Buzz-worthy: Simply put, this pack feels like a big miss -- and that may be the norm here more than I think as there are a lot of cards in that base set ... meanwhile I say that because this is my fourth pack here and none were as rough as this one. Go figure. A couple of my past packs here included rookie variations but nothing like that this time ... though I had some RC presence among my parallels. These are all about the big chase -- and when you land a big you'll know it -- but not this time. ... If I regularly ripped NBA stuff, I'd probably do more of this as long as they are cheaper in price and other options out in the retail wild were a bit mild. Why? There's always a chance that a key name on a rare card could be in there and in a brand like this a good card with a good name can command good attention. Just not this time.
