What's Buzz-worthy: I like the approach here in other sports so I grabbed one of these a couple weeks ago but nothing here really jumped out at me so I let it sit. Why? Centering on the Suggs card above -- one of the better cards here -- is so off that the edge of the sheet or another non-blue card is showing on the left. Kinda sums it up for me. Good card arriving in pretty much useless condition for me as a casual NBA buyer who'll probably just get rid of the better finds as, well, it's not my main collecting core. (Shrug.) The rest of the box delivered some good names here and there and then everything in retail being a parallel of some sort is a move that could make these more popular over time as people turn this direction after hobby boxes are ripped and dry up. The tiered approach here adds variety but this one didn't feel as impactful as the WWE or NFL versions but maybe this box is just one that didn't have as much going on -- maybe boxes can be better here. I'm probably a one and done, though, as I don't need a bunch of NBA after heavy buying in recent years chasing big rookies. Flash Prizms are only in blasters and there are retail-only rarities here like Tiger and Elephant cards as well as ink to be found. If you're not committed enough to do full-on hobby boxes or other pricier ones (I'm not), these are a good taste test with potential.

Product Grade: A- (retail version grade ... I don't mind the color on everything)
Box Grade: B- (some funk here on centering on the inserts was big bummer)
Fun Grade: B (centering hurt on better cards here)
