What's Buzz-worthy: The checklist for this one is as huge as the variety of who's found inside -- more than 200 standard cards and then more than 100 more SPs atop that with a checklist that is loaded with names you should know and then a ton of names you do.  Is a set like this for everybody? Perhaps not -- especially not you flippers out there -- but it could still yield interesting results with autographs, memorabilia and more all in there and with some type of hit (likely memorabilia cards or movie film cards) here every single time. I busted this one as something different and got just that with more SPs than what was posted (perhaps that's the norm for blasters?) and with some interesting results. The base cards here have a spot gloss surface that either reads INSPIRE or HISTORIC across the face of the card with the base INSPIRE cards at 25 and then HISTORIC showing up 28 times among the base. The SPs and parallels broke a little differently ... so maybe if some segment of the overall population is tougher then a popular name like what I found in the Michael Jackson card might surprise and lead to some bidders not wanting to chase in packs knowing it's rarer. I haven't yet had time to deeply examine the checklist but you can see it all starting the gallery below. I did spot some film Relics I wouldn't mind finding even if the film stock itself isn't all that rare -- the cards seem to be though and they are serial-numbered, too, to show the volume made for each version. (Some good names are here.) The modern names are perhaps more plentiful in the SPs and hits and the company said it intends to make this more like a "living set" that adds more people to it over time. I was a little surprised by the clean cuts and stock here -- it seems stronger than some stuff in the realm -- and it may be quite slab-friendly, which could be a big thing for the big names with cards here but not a lot elsewhere. (Back edges on the parallels will be a problem for grading, though, as those are chippy.) All in all this one surprised me and I found it at less than $20 ... don't be surprised if I dabble here with another format or more of this one. It's quite possible ... I just need to scout that checklist more.

Product Grade: A- (huge set with a ton of names from all around us ... without breaking the bank)
Box Grade: A (over-delivered on SP cards, though that could be common in blasters vs. other formats)
Fun Grade: B (a lot of names one might not know might make some boxes run dry value-wise)
