What's Buzz-worthy: Announced last Friday, released and sold out on Monday, in-hand on Thursday -- that's the story of this one, which is the first officially licensed Impact! wrestling card set since 2013. These packs ($29.99) appear to be the same each time based on the lineup on the back of the pack save for an autographed card limited to 100 copies. There are three autos to find here -- Brian Myers, Deonna Purrazzo and Moose. I landed the one who has never had an autographed card before, Moose, who is in the main event against Kenny Omega on Saturday night. (The other two have had WWE autographs from past releases.) The set for this series is skip-numbered with Christian Cage at No. 4 but the rest being Nos. 11-20 but not No. 14 -- so expect future series to fill in the gaps. The cards have a dark color and are not glossed but are pretty clean -- the auto shows a little more handling wear on edges since it's an on-card sig. These could be tougher cards to grade like their AEW counterparts and probably should be sleeved immediately after opening to prevent chipping or ink loss since there is no gloss here. All in all, it's a fun and decent return to cardboard and the approach makes sure people get everything in a pack except a pair of autos. It looks like only 300 packs were made and if you sprung for three packs they guaranteed all three signers. It should be interesting to see how the rest of them look and how the demand is for the ink in this one.
