What's Buzz-worthy: My first box of this was a little uneventful for me but with these being so cheap with so much upside I did one more ... and it paid off big with the autograph of the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and Alabama Crimson Tide star QB Bryce Young -- the auto I was looking for and a guy who'll be taking the field here in a couple days. He's a high-profile NIL signer who has had ink from pretty much everybody but with that his autograph quality has been lessening over time. This time? Pretty much a perfect sig in my book and it's on-card with a design that's distinctly retro and has an image that doesn't really make it obvious that the few official school logos in play here have been removed. In short, this card is nearly perfect to me. Will I grade it? I want to but there is a minor edge spot and some surface gloss loss that might make me hate an attached number and take away from the appeal of my new key current piece in my Crimson Tide stash. Will I add more over time? Yes, but now I don't have to hunt as hard. ... The rest of the pack here? Too much Auburn and a Tennessee guy who is now a New Orleans Saint. But all that doesn't matter as I landed the one I was looking for.
