What's Buzz-worthy: The last time I opened one of these I landed the one guy I wanted, Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young, but with the price here so modest (though it is just one pack) I figured I'd dabble again. Why? Simplicity, a vintage feel, guaranteed hits and ... That Heisman Guy. The first name I saw here was Stroud, a Heisman finalist the last two years but a guy who didn't win it ... and not on ink. He's one of those names that would make a box a win if his ink showed but not this time along with That Heisman Guy. I landed three QBs here though with both autos being guys who had strong college careers, Thorne for Michigan State and then Matt Corral who was a third-round pick of the Carolina Panthers. Could I have done worse? Yep. Based on a quick price check on one place where I buy, the Corral might pay for the box, so that reinforces my thoughts here. This brand is built on NIL guys -- some already drafted and some who will be soon -- and it's modestly priced enough I'll probably dabble more after this was just my third box. There are ink parallels and inscriptions to be found in the mix, too, to add to the chase beyond who you get here, too.
