What's Buzz-worthy: My final box in my cheap four-box hunt for Shedeur Sanders ink came up short once again and this one might be my most-average box of the bunch ... it happens. Patterson was a sixth-round pick of the Houston Texans out of Notre Dame, while Brooks, a former Oklahoma Sooners standout, was on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad last season but cut this season. McKee was a sixth-round pick of the Eagles this year after his time at Stanford but is a deep third on the depth chart with a star at the top of that list so, yeah, he ain't playing any time soon. Williams, who played at USC and Oregon, was signed and cut by the Ravens ... so this is definitely my worst box of my four. Again, it happens. ... As I noted in my past breaks, the arrival of Bowman U Chrome will perhaps steal attention away from this with its advantages of Chrome and full licensing (as well as Sanders being at Colorado on the card) but this one is off-radar a bit. It had been a kind of affordable shot at some good stuff if you want ink of notables on some of their first cards -- on-card ink, too, and that early part is because these boxes are packed with active college players on NIL deals back then. Why rip? Colorado's Sanders is in here with both autos and base cards -- and they're in demand -- while other guys already in the NFL are also in here such as Young, who I pulled in a past break. I'd probably open more if reasonably priced as I like the aesthetic here and that combined with the other variables such as on-card ink. Not everything needs to be foilboard or Chrome.
