What's Buzz-worthy: The last couple of years are a bit of a blur on some fronts -- can't collect it all -- and Panini's baseball has some brands that I like and have ripped a lot in the past but less so recently. This is one of those brands. Why? Timing, cost ... availability. This one had competition that I liked more upon arrival and, ell, I knew this one was more for a collector than a dollar-chase in most instances in this format. But now that I found it a lot cheaper? Yep, I looked. Why not before? Walmart was charging $27.48 a blaster here -- just not palatable for me -- and jumbo packs were only $7.98. Blasters have 20 cards while the packs have 15 ... so for the essentially the same price you can have more than double the cardboard going the pack route. This box included its typical blaster-only Building Block cards and Groove cards and one pack had a thick-stock America's Pastime card. Lots of star power here past and present but even at almost half price this one still felt flat.
