What's Buzz-worthy: No ink this time ... but I still got some good volume on players one would want to see here along with some stars with school ties for me so this blaster is still an A- box to me after paying suggested retail price. Trey Lance, Mac Jones, DeVonta Smith and others stood out to me here and then Javonte Williams showed up several times just in time after two of his best games as a pro. (Not that important here but it shows how you can get volume for names who could be off radars.) ... It's a Friday and I still have other stuff to prep, so I'll let some of my thoughts from last time finish up here ... If I were forced to name my top few brands of the last few years for football as a collector this one would be a contender for a top spot. Why? The variety, the star power and the runs that can happen even in a tiny box like this one. The brand's all-in-one approach that gives you a small volume of players presented in several different brands all in one spot -- a formula that's fun and can deliver big if you land the right names over and over ... in any sport. Numbering-wise, it's all one set but to me it feels like a Chronicles base set and then the rest feel like inserts because of the variety of the stock and looks. Pink parallels and Prizm parallels are the inserts here and you get a few in these boxes -- but other colors and a ton more in other formats so you should consider them (hit that link up top). Over time the easier pulls found here will get cheaper -- no doubt -- but the quality of stuff here simply from a collector standpoint is unmatched, especially if you're a college football fan. If you're collecting or not all that worried about cash returns, rip these all day long ... they are a lot of fun. If I could find them in-person at volume at SRP, I'd rip a lot more than I have.
