What's Buzz-worthy: This one is right there in the Chronicles wheelhouse but the base set is bigger this time and you get more cards per box than the draft picks release for the new year. Does it work? I think so. The base set here has always been a little simple if not downright bland but in my mind I think that's to help show how the other sets are so different and, easily, better, so getting a little more of them here, while good, gives the box a little different feel. A more traditional feel vs. a set that's made up of many sets. This is still that but with more of a base presence. I'll take it. The variety here seems a little lessened as there are only nine other types ("brands") of cards in this box but I got a good run of the names I'd want to see -- and I really like the clear acetate cards here as part of the mix that includes Optichrome-stock cards, foilboard and so on. My mix of RCs is nice here with Mac Jones, Justin Fields, Trey Lance, Ja'Marr Chase, Najee Harris and Jaylen Waddle in there ... some a few times. I'll be busting more of this one and offer more thoughts then when I find more.
