What's Buzz-worthy: A new one of these delivered a pair of Trevor Lawrence appearances as well as pair of Tom Brady cards to go with those but unfortunately both were base Chronicles and Chronicles parallel cards so the dollars side of this win isn't all that big ... but it still felt like a good box to this collector. There are a few other names in this one that are good or still have potential and I liked the mix that included a pair of Prizm Black cards this time -- not a cards type I even landed in my first box of this one. I like the mix of acetate cards to be found here, too, though the design on one of those sets is a little iffy and then the player selection on one in this box wasn't as good ... but I like finding them vs. not. ... This one is right there in the Chronicles wheelhouse but the base set is bigger this time and you get more cards per box than the draft picks release for the new year. Does it work? I think so. The base set here has always been a little simple if not downright bland but in my mind I think that's to help show how the other sets are so different and, easily, better. I'll likely do more, dabbling with the small formats. If you like this one and want more, hit that link up top for hobby.
